A presto

Ciao Lory,

Here I am again, sorry for my absence of late. I am greatly intrigued how your inspirations intertwine with mine... I watched a documentary about Italy last weekend. Regarding Verona, and the famous recreated "Juliet's balcony," the narrator described how in years past, thousands of people sent letters by mail to Verona, addressed to Romeo and Juliet. This is a touching gesture, honoring a tale of love that has endured for over four hundred years. Montiverdi's operas have also endured the test of time, and today, Pur Ti Miro resonates as warmly and brilliantly as it did so long ago. I must, at this point, praise the musical direction of Christina Pluhar, whose interpretation is so fresh and delicate, surely stemming from her Alma de Mujer. And Jaroussky, of course... la dolcezza della sua voce, e proprio un angioletto!

Ciao Daniel,

thank you for passing here, bringing your vision of things that always takes me a step forward.
I love Jaroussky's voice, each and every performance of his, but in this case, I have to say that there's one reason more. This duet actually is a Love duet.... I think that men and women, when Love enters their hearts and souls, become like angels...they are..we are transformed by Love, purified by its energy and truth. So...a Love duet sung by two angelical voices is, for me, the perfect portrait of what happens, inside a man and a woman, because of Love.

Magico duetto!
